Standard side effects are tired, “wired” (usually giddy, sometimes anxious), spacey, headache, and rarely, nausea. These usually last for just a few minutes; occasionally a few hours; and rarely a day or so. These side effects are temporary 100% of the time. The clinician lowers the “dose” on the next session and side effects are either gone or greatly diminished. Side effects are very rarely a significant issue during the course of a client’s sessions.

This indicates they have been trained in the fundamentals of CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™ and are competent to use this technology. This certification is not officially “recognized” by any licensing body or official organization. It is on your wall to give assurance to your clients that you have had the proper training to use CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™. The relevant certificate in the world of neurofeedback is from the BCIA (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance). BCIA training has several courses of didactic study and then formal testing. It is a voluntary certification and not required to become certified in CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™.
